A small summary of first day #DD2015 from the indie game developer’s point of view. Generally speaking, it was awesome! We received a lot of great feedback what gave us some interesting ideas.
We were surprised how many people were interested in Phantaruk there was always someone playing. What’s most important – they liked it and wanted more. Even though the game needs manyfixes and improvements, players praised good atmosphere and interesting gameplay.
Now all we need to do is to better the mechanics, tie up loose ends and throw away that one puzzle which was too hard for a half of people (or adjust it in clever way) 😛
We wish we could have attended one or two lectures – going away from our stand equaled a loss of a new, possible contacts. Although there were three of us, sometimes we just weren’t able to handle everyone.
